Course Description
This course is an introductory course in statistical data analysis for managerial decision making using a problem solving approach that focuses on proper interpretation and use of statistical information. The use of statistical data analysis software is an integral part of this course.

The form of this course will be lecturing with demonstration and explanation. Also, Computer demonstrations will be provided when appropriate. Students will be engaged in solving problems with Q & A sessions, and discussion with conclusion.

- Use and apply statistical knowledge learned in a business environment.
- Apply basic probability concepts and probability distribution as an aid to business decision making.
- Explain how to make inferences, predictions and testing assumptions.
- Apply statistical methods using proper statistical software.
